Kacy Barta

Raised in Monett Missouri, her journey with comedy began in high school where she performed Humorous Interpretation. She tried Dramatic Interpretation but everyone kept laughing.

She then went on to higher education at State Fair Community College, where she received an Associates in Theatre and went to the actual State Fair once.

Next, Kacy went to The University of Central Missouri. There she got her Bachelor of Fine Arts and first tipped her toe into improv when she became a member of the improv troupe “Shenanigans”.

After college she moved north yet again landing in Kansas City where she performed at Comedy City for four years and truly found a love of improv.

She’s happy to be a part of KCIC bringing the spirit of the Ozarks with her!
