Chanté was a quiet child with horrible stage fright. It is hard to believe that she has now performed improv comedy for 20+ years. Chanté chased more pragmatic dreams than comedy, first becoming a mental health professional and then landing in her current position supporting economic development through small business development. In fact, Chanté just finished her M.B.A. program with UMKC. However, Chanté could never step too far away from the stage, performing improv, sketch, musicals, and one-act plays with independent theater groups in her free time. Chanté honed her comedic skill at iO Chicago and the Second City Conservatory while performing regularly at the Den Theater. You can now find her performing regularly with the Bird Comedy Theater and The Kansas City Improv Company.
